Call me strange (most people do) but I get a small shiver of pleasure everytime I write “colour” as opposed to “color”.
Is there a sense of national pride that I did not realise was in there? . . . Possibly.
Just being awkward? . . . Much more likely I think.
My favourite colour is green by the way.
